Guidelines

  • To submit your work, use the hashtag #ReikaoWeek2025. You may also tag @kaorei_bot in your submission or the replies to ensure it gets seen. An AO3 Collection for fics will be created shortly before the start date.

  • All types of creations will be accepted as long as they belong to you! That includes content regardless of positioning, meaning both ReiKao (零薫) and KaoRei (薫零) content is allowed.

  • Plagiarism and AI generated content will not be tolerated.

  • R-18(G) / NSFW Guidelines:
    •  All NSFW works must be appropriately labeled. This includes depictions of heavy gore/blood.
    •  Explicit art must either be hidden with Twitter's content warning blur feature or behind a link (such as Poipiku or Privatter), and fics must be properly rated as E.
    • You do not have to strictly stick to the designated NSFW prompts for your NSFW works! You may use any prompts you'd like, and even blend NSFW and standard prompts if you want to.
    •  Since both ReiKao and KaoRei is allowed, it is highly encouraged to specify top/bottom in sexual content so that others are able to only interact with their preferred interpretation if they wish to.
    •  R-18(G) / NSFW submissions by anyone under the age of 18 is prohibited.

  • Purposefully not adhering to any guidelines will result in a block.

  • Anonymous Submissions:
    •  If you would like your submission posted Anonymously, you can send a direct message on Twitter (X) and it will be posted directly to the account for you by the mod.
    •  Alternatively, you can send a message on Neospring or Tumblr if you wish to remain completely Anonymous.

FAQ

Are late submissions accepted?
Yes, I will continue to check the tag and the AO3 collection will remain open even after Reikao Week is over, so feel free to post your submissions late if you need to!Are other characters allowed to be featured in submissions?
As long as the focus is on Rei and Kaoru other characters are allowed to be in your submissions.Do we have to follow the prompts exactly?
You may interpret the prompts as loose or as literal as you want to, or even not use them at all.Can we participate if we don't ship it romantically?
Yes, both platonic and romantic depictions of their relationship are welcome.Is Femstars allowed?
Femstars is allowed, but please be courteous and keep in mind that not everyone is comfortable with Rule 63 content. A written warning for it in your submission is encouraged, but not required. This also applies to hetbends.
